The Norwegian Diving Federation welcomes all Nordic spearfishing national teams to the Nordic Championships in Hadsel, Norway on the 13th and 14th of September.

Mandatory equipment

All athletes must present the following equipment durng the equipment check in order to participate in the Championship. Athletes who do not have the approved equipment will not be allowed to participate in the Championship.

  • Alpha flag: In Norway, it is mandatory to use the Alpha flag (white and blue dive flag) while diving. All athletes must have an alpha flag attached to their buoy. A red and white Diver Below flags will not be accepted.
  • Brightly coloured buoy or float: All athletes must have buoy or float in the colour red, orange or yellow. This is a safety measure. Black or dark buoys will not be accepted, as they are not visible in the sea at a distance.
  • Float line: All athletes must have a float line connected from their buoy to their belt at all times while in the water.
  • Knife: All athletes must carry a sharp knife. 

Competition Area Day 1 - Friday 13th of September

Athletes can chose between 3 starting points. There is only 1 finshish point (Mål), and all athletes must finish there.

GPS Trackers

As a safety measure, all athletes will have a GPS tracker attached to their buoy. The athletes location will only be available to the referees and safety personnel. The athlete's location will not be shared outside this group.

By registering for the Nordisc Spearfishing Championship 2024, all athletes accept that their location will be tracked during the competition.

Area 3 (Reserve)
